A Communio Response to Illegitimate Debt 

The hearing on “Daily Bread’ and Illegitimate Debt” will profile LWF’s efforts in promoting a communio response to the problem of external illegitimate debt.

The Latin American region initiated and pursued the LWF Illegitimate Debt program on behalf of the wider communion.

The 16:30 to 17:15 hrs hearing on 24 July will draw on recent experiences and insights of member church representatives from Finland, Iceland, Liberia, Netherlands, Norway and the United Kingdom, and from the Latin American program.

Jürgen Kaiser, German Erlassjahr campaign, will present an update on the current policy discourse on this matter.
