Development worker Anne Stickel tells about the idea behind the Assembly theme mural that graced the exhibition space. The community fresco gave creative expression to the hopes of participants for daily bread. 

Six rural women who have never been to school are now working as solar engineers in villages in Mauritania, northern Africa. The supply of clean energy is providing a ray of hope for the villagers.
